- Fill the boiler with 1 liter of demineralized water (normal water
also is acceptable) and close lightly the tank with the security vent
plug.
DO NOT FILL THE BOILER COMPLETELY FULL!!!
With ____ liters of water, it's possible to work about 1.5 hours. If
your work will be shorter, put less water into the boiler. You'll
save energy and the equipment will be ready sooner.
- Connect the steam generator to the electric power. You will
immediately see the tension light on the unit turn on.
- Power on the boiler and iron and set the iron thermostat to medium I
high temperature. Wait 5 to 10 minutes (it depends on the quantity of
water in the boiler). When the steam light is on, the equipment is
ready to work. While you are ironing, the steam light will power on
and off because of the changing boiler temperature. However, you can
still work without any problem.
- It's possible that some liquid water will be present in the first
puff of steam because because the the rubber hose is cool when the
steam first passes through. After a few seconds the hose will become
hot and only steam will be present. However, you must still control
the position of the thermostat so that it is set to steam.
- The amount of steam that comes out can be controlled by the steam
regulator.
- If, when you are working, the output of steam decreases, it means
there is a water deficiency. In this case, before you put in more
water, you must power off the unit, wait for 5 minutes, then slowly
unscrew the security vent plug to expel any steam that is still
present in the boiler. You may then fill the boiler.
- When you stop work, turn off all switches and turn the electric
power off. It's not necessary to empty the boiler when you stop work.
- Before using the equipment again, check the amount of water present
in the boiler.
